How the Toothbrush Works
Simply put, the Ion Toothbrush creates a small electrical potential between the two dissimilar pieces of metal in the toothbrush head,copper and magnesium.
The copper and magnesium junction in the Ion Toothbrush head create an electrical thermocouple.
An Estonian physician named Thomas Seebeck accidentally discovered in 1822 that the junction between two dissimilar metals generates a voltage between the metals that depends on the temperature. This discovery, called the Seebeck Effect, is widely used all over the world today because it creates a very small, reliable thermometer.
In Russia and other republics of the Commonwealth of Independent States, radio receivers are sometimes powered by semiconductor thermocouples in remote areas.
The saliva in the mouth electrically connects the two metals, completing the connection between the two. A little sea salt or a small amount of toothpaste but this is not essential.
The ION TOOTHBRUSH has better plaque removing potential than conventional toothbrushes by making use of the electric potential difference between precious metals and base ones, which generates a voltage of about 1.5 and electrical current of about 2000mA in the water as well as minus ion. Bacteria in mouth will be sterilized by voltage over 1.3, which means electric sterilization effect. The action of electrons removes dental plaque from areas where conventional toothbrushes cannot reach.

1) Sterilization effect
The Magnesium and Proton Ion will sterilize many kinds of bacteria in the mouth. The Kagoshima Pharmacist Association (Japan) has certified that Cu Mg metal i.e. ION TOOTHBRUSH will sterilize Escherichia coli (Colon bacillus).
2) Prevention against bad breath
The Copper Ion emitted from the metal will prevent bad breath.
3) Removal of dental plaque
Dental plaque and stains will be cleaned by Hydroxyl Ion H3O2 minus having surface-active effect.
4) Strengthened tooth roots
As blood flows more effectively, tooth roots will be strengthened and may prevent gum disease.
